Rufus vs. Judy

Exactly two years and one day before I was born, Judy Garland died. I can easily admit that because of the timing of said events, I never really got the Judy Garland thing, until recently. It's not enough to see "Wizard of Oz." One must witness the intensity of "The Man That Got Away" from "A Star is Born" in order to truly appreaciate the genius of Judy. The Judy Davis biopic helps a lot, too.

I understand that Rufus "Gay Messiah" Wainwright plans to recreate her infamous Carnegie Hall performance this summer. Homage? Perhaps, but this much is for sure- The kid has balls.
